Understand the student
See recurring strengths, activity interests and learning or work-style tendencies explained without treating them as fixed labels.
BEFORE YOU PAY RM99
Your child does not need to know their future yet. They need a clearer way to recognise their current strengths, interests and possible directions.
NAVIYA brings several parts of the student’s responses together, explains the repeating patterns in plain language and turns them into pathways and questions your family can investigate.

WHY A PARENT MAY FIND THIS USEFUL
A student can perform well and still feel unsure. They may like several subjects, know only a few familiar careers or struggle to explain why one field attracts them more than another.
NAVIYA does not make the decision for your family. It gives you a more informed starting point for the conversation.
Instead of asking only:
“What do you want to become?”NAVIYA helps families ask:
“Which patterns keep appearing—and what can we explore next?”WHAT RM99 ACTUALLY BUYS
The value is not the number of questions. It is how the student’s responses are translated into clear, practical guidance.
See recurring strengths, activity interests and learning or work-style tendencies explained without treating them as fixed labels.
Review a leading pathway, supporting alternatives and the evidence signals that brought each direction forward.
Use subject considerations, better questions and practical exploration ideas before narrowing an important choice.
A STARTING POINT, NOT A FINAL VERDICT
It helps students identify pathways worth investigating and gives families, teachers and counsellors clearer questions to discuss together. It does not replace academic results, school counselling, subject prerequisites or professional entry requirements.
WHY NAVIYA USES MORE THAN ONE PERSPECTIVE
Each component answers a different question. NAVIYA looks for patterns that repeat across the student’s responses instead of allowing one attractive answer to decide the outcome.
The 30-item O*NET Mini Interest Profiler measures six RIASEC areas through concrete work activities the student may like or dislike.
Learning-strength signals reflect the ways a student may prefer to work with information, ideas, people and practical activities.
Big Five turns work-style tendencies into practical guidance for studying, organising, communicating and managing pressure.
GUIDANCE — not pathway scoringDirect pathway questions preserve the student’s own voice instead of allowing adult expectations to decide the result.
Learning-strength signals, RIASEC activity interests and the student’s direct pathway interests are compared across every available pathway using the same structured model.
It does not raise, lower or block a pathway. It helps the student use their current tendencies more effectively when studying, organising, communicating and managing pressure.
RESEARCH FOUNDATIONS
NAVIYA draws on research in vocational interests, personality and teenage career exploration. The frameworks inform the design; they do not turn the report into a clinical diagnosis or a prediction of future success.
NAVIYA reproduces the 30 work-activity items and six RIASEC scales of the O*NET Mini Interest Profiler. Its RIASEC scores are one evidence source inside NAVIYA; NAVIYA’s separate pathway mapping has not been tested or endorsed by USDOL/ETA.
O*NET Interest Profiler and technical resources ↗A large meta-analysis of 267 independent samples found meaningful relationships between personality traits and academic performance, while also showing that cognitive ability remained the stronger predictor. NAVIYA therefore uses Big Five for guidance—not pathway selection.
Mammadov (2022) ↗OECD evidence highlights widespread career uncertainty among teenagers and supports earlier, active career exploration connected with informed educational decisions and real-world exposure.
OECD (2025) ↗Multiple-intelligences-inspired categories can offer accessible prompts for reflection, but the theory has important psychometric criticisms. NAVIYA does not treat these categories as IQ, fixed abilities or separate neurological intelligences.
Shearer & Karanian (2017) review ↗Important: These references support the underlying constructs and the value of career exploration. They do not independently validate NAVIYA’s specific scoring model. NAVIYA should be used as a structured educational conversation aid alongside academic evidence, school guidance and real exploration.

FROM ANSWERS TO DIRECTION
The student completes the assessment.
Responses are converted into standardised scores across the measured areas, including separate Big Five work-style scores.
Learning-strength, RIASEC and direct pathway-interest patterns are compared with the evidence profile for every NAVIYA pathway. Big Five is excluded from this pathway calculation.
The same structured scoring process is applied consistently across every pathway.
The strongest overall matches are presented as leading and supporting pathways for exploration.
WHAT THE SCORE MEANS
A pathway score represents the relative strength of the match between the student’s responses and the evidence profile for that pathway. For example, a strong Engineering result means several activity interests, learning-strength signals and direct interests support exploring Engineering. Big Five may then suggest how the student can approach the learning required without changing that pathway score.
Actual Mathematics and Science achievement, subject availability, entry requirements and personal circumstances must still be considered.
“This pathway is worth exploring further.”
“This is the only correct pathway for you.”
CAMBRIDGE IGCSE
NAVIYA connects pathway findings with Cambridge IGCSE subjects that may provide useful foundations. These are considerations—not compulsory prescriptions.

LEARNING & WORK STYLE
Big Five is not used to decide which pathway a student may pursue. In the full report, every trait shows the student’s score and interpretation band, a neutral explanation and a practical “Try this” strategy that changes meaningfully with the score range.

Try this: Explore freely, then choose one idea to finish. If unfamiliar approaches feel uncomfortable, test one in a small, practical step.
Try this: Use a realistic plan without chasing perfection. If consistency is harder, make the first step visible, short and easy to start.
Try this: Use discussion when it gives you energy, then add quiet review. If speaking up is harder, prepare one contribution before a small-group discussion.
Try this: Use empathy while keeping healthy boundaries and independent judgment. Practise disagreeing with an idea without dismissing the person.
Try this: Notice pressure signals early, break work into manageable steps and seek support when worry repeatedly disrupts learning, sleep or daily life.
A higher score is not automatically better, and a lower score is not a failure. Tendencies can develop and should never become fixed labels or exclusion rules. If stress repeatedly disrupts learning, sleep or daily life, speak with a trusted adult, school counsellor or appropriate professional.
MANY VALID FUTURES
NAVIYA recognises directions including science and healthcare, engineering, computing, business, law and society, education and community services, creative media, agriculture and environmental fields, hospitality and culinary arts, and technical or skilled occupations.
HONEST LIMITS
These factors matter. NAVIYA complements them by helping students understand current interests and learning engagement, while using Big Five for practical study and development guidance.
YOUR CHILD’S INFORMATION
The completed profile is delivered through the verified parent or guardian contact. NAVIYA does not publish a student’s report, and the profile is not presented as a diagnosis, examination grade or permanent record of who the child is.

BEST USED AS A CONVERSATION
Students should discuss results with parents, teachers or counsellors, compare findings with academic performance, investigate unfamiliar pathways and try relevant real experiences before making major decisions.
Know yourself. Explore your possibilities. Make informed decisions.FAQ
No. NAVIYA identifies educational and career pathways worth exploring. Decisions should also consider academic performance, subject requirements, opportunities and guidance from parents, teachers or counsellors.
No. NAVIYA does not measure IQ. Its learning-strength component helps students reflect on ways they may engage with learning and information.
No. NAVIYA is an educational guidance and self-exploration tool. It does not diagnose psychological, developmental or medical conditions.
Responses become standardised scores. Learning-strength signals, RIASEC interests and direct pathway interests are evaluated through a structured weighted pathway model. Big Five is interpreted separately for study and development guidance. No single question or personality characteristic determines the result.
Each perspective answers a different question. RIASEC shows which activities and environments attract the student, learning strengths reflect engagement with information, and direct interest questions preserve the student’s own voice. Big Five turns work-style tendencies into practical guidance without altering the pathway ranking.
No. It indicates a stronger relative match within NAVIYA’s guidance model. Success also depends on academic preparation, skills, effort, opportunities and field requirements.
Yes. NAVIYA recognises academic, creative and applied directions, including routes that may lead to TVET, apprenticeships, skills certification or professional training.
No. Subject availability and combinations vary. Students should confirm options and requirements directly with their school.
No. In NAVIYA V1.1, Big Five does not raise, lower or exclude any pathway. It personalises practical guidance for studying and development.
The dash means Big Five is not included in the pathway calculation—not that data is missing or the student scored zero. Big Five scores still appear in the Learning & Work Style section and generate personalised guidance.
